Have you ever had the "seven year itch"? Or have you noticed the significance of the number seven in your life? I have. And I have just finished a seven-year life cycle, according to ancient Rosacrucian teachings. I have my two youngest grandchildren arriving at noon to spend this weekend with Grandmommy. I have lots of neat things planned like chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, banana pudding, and a surprise anniversary edition of Julie Andrews in "Mary Poppins".
My two older children, their Uncle Craig and Aunt Carajean, were the ages of Travis and Kelly when this movie came out. I hope that Dick Van Dyke and the song and dance to Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious (whew!) still works the same magic on children as it did in the 1960s.So.. stay tuned. I may not get back to this while we are having so much fun! Maybe after they go to bed at night -- or perhaps on Monday.
